CodeMap® Compliance Briefing: June 7, 2019
Editor's Welcome: Each year, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) convenes an annual meeting to consider comments from the public on how new laboratory tests are to be reimbursed. CMS allows public input during this meeting for all new tests and procedures to be included in the following year's Medicare Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule (CLFS). This year, CMS will hold the Annual Laboratory Public Meeting on Monday, June 24, at its headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland. Today, we will review the purposes of this meeting and comment on some of the new tests included on the meeting agenda. As always, please forward your questions, comments, and suggestions to us via email.
