Last week, the OIG published a Special Advisory Bulletin concerning how program exclusions may affect health care providers that treat beneficiaries of federally funded health care programs. The Bulletin discusses the many liabilities that individuals and employers may face if they allow excluded individuals to provide services paid for by the federal government through the Medicare and Medicaid programs.
