As anticipated, the American Medical Association (AMA) released electronic downloads for the 2011 CPT last week. Publication of the CPT downloads usually occurs a few weeks prior to publication and shipping of new CPT books. Today we will summarize the 16 new codes included in the Pathology and Laboratory section of the 2011 CPT. Seven code revisions and three deleted codes are also included in this year's changes.
